John Bennett
John Bennett has actively participated in animal rescue since June of 1997. He and his wife began volunteering as foster parents for Cats About Town Society. From 1997 to 2000, his wife and he personally fostered and adopted out over 150 cats.

In May of 2000, John and his wife founded and incorporated Folsom Feline Rescue (FFR). They have recruited up to 90 volunteers during the first three years, coordinating their efforts with fostering, adoptions, and special events. They regularly plan and carry out fundraiser activities throughout the year. As President, John has been responsible for conducting FFR Board and volunteer meetings. John started a TNR (Trap/Neuter/Release) humane feral cat-trapping program. In October of 2001, he and his wife created two no-cost spay/neuter programs geared towards helping low-income families and feral cat colonies.

In January of 2003, John became a director for No More Homeless Pets in Sacramento County.

John holds a bachelors degree in Computer Engineering from CSU, Sacramento and is employed fulltime with Agilent Technologies as a Design Engineer.
