Lynda Bates
Lynda Bates has actively participated in animal rescue/welfare since January 1999. She began volunteering with Friends for Life Animal Outreach in such roles as foster parent, webmistress, adoption events, fundraising, board member, and Treasurer. On March 1, 2003, she decided it was time to leave the group.

In November 2002, Lynda became a part of No More Homeless Pets in Sacramento County and in January 2003 began serving as a Board Member.

In February 2003, Lynda began networking with California Siamese Rescue. She assists with rescuing Siamese cats from nearby shelters and temporarily fostering until transport can be arranged to other foster homes.

In April 2003, Lynda began fostering young kittens for Sacramento County Animal Care and Regulation.

In mid-April 2003, Lynda began volunteering with Folsom Feline Rescue. She is assisting with fostering and adoption events.

Lynda holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree in History from Whittier College and has been employed by the California Department of Rehabilitation since June 1975.
